Silica Sol Process for Stainless Steel Precision Casting

The silica sol process belongs to the so-called investment casting, which is a casting process with less cutting. It is a unique process technology in the stainless steel precision casting industry and is widely used. It is not only suitable for casting of various types and alloys, but also produces castings with higher dimensional accuracy and surface quality than other casting methods. Even complex, high-temperature resistant, and difficult-to-process castings that are difficult to cast by other casting methods can be cast by investment casting. The so-called stainless steel precision casting process is simply to make a fusible model with fusible materials, coat it with several layers of special refractory materials, dry and harden it to form an integral casting shell, and then use steam or hot water to melt it at high temperature. After the casting mold or shell is melted, molten metal is poured into it to obtain a casting.
