2. Application of silica sol in textiles


In the textile industry, fabrics treated with silica sol have high strength, stable fabric dimensions, and high recovery elasticity. For example, in fixed bed reactions, due to limitations of fluid resistance, large particle carriers are required; in sulfurized beds, fine particle carriers are required to improve efficiency; molybdenum and bismuth catalysts used for propylene ammonia oxidation require carrier particles The diameter is about 50 microns; the microsphere catalyst used for catalytic cracking of petroleum fractions requires a particle size of about 60 microns.
