Application of silica sol in electronics industry

For example, high-purity silica sol containing 20% SiO2 mass fraction and pH 8~9 is the dispersant and binder for phosphor powder coating in color picture tubes. When the acidic silica sol containing 20% SiO2 mass fraction and pH 2.5~4.5 is used for phosphor regeneration treatment, it has a high degree of dispersion. If high-purity silica sol is used to react with high-purity potassium hydroxide, high-purity potassium silicate can be obtained, which is an excellent dispersant and binder for phosphor powder in black and white picture tubes. After the tape is treated with silica sol, it can increase wear resistance and prevent electrification.
